A delightful Grade II listed former bank building (originally the 'Yorkshire Penny Bank') has been converted and re-modelled to create a unique new venue in the heart of Leeds City Centre's Prime Office Quarter and Central Conservation Area.

This elaborate building (designed in the Gothic Revival Style) now hosts a wide variety of social and business events within its dramatic banking hall and associated board rooms.

Alterations and insertions implemented by previous occupiers of the building were extremely damaging to the original historic fabric. These have been carefully removed and important spaces and features carefully restored. The charm and character of the original building now contributes to a new contemporary setting for functions in Leeds.

The upper floors of the building have also been rationalised to provide office accommodation, making the most of this valuable resource as a mixed-use commercial development.

Planning approval has been obtained for a modern extension at the rear of the building, complementing the historic building and extending the venue accommodation to provide a new dimension to the interior spaces.
